{"id":83,"date":"2023-08-26T00:48:22","date_gmt":"2023-08-26T00:48:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/henryhanh.com\/?p=83"},"modified":"2023-08-26T00:48:22","modified_gmt":"2023-08-26T00:48:22","slug":"judgement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/henryhanh.com\/index.php\/2023\/08\/26\/judgement\/","title":{"rendered":"Judgement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The biggest reflexive and automatic response in my life is my tendency to judge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge how the cashier forgot and took too long to get my iced coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge how attractive or ugly that woman walking opposite me on the street is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge how good or bad that friend is for not replying to my messages in the expected time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All my judgements create a duality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This duality is of aversion and attraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where there is aversion and attraction there must be a preference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When there is a preference, there can be no choice but anxiety and suffering towards the thing that I don\u2019t want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s so engrained in society people don\u2019t realize because it\u2019s been like this their whole lives. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schools preach getting high grades, as if it\u2019s \u201cgood\u201d to get higher grades and \u201cbad\u201d to get lower grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Social media, news, movies, and my parents make judgements on everything and everyone all day long. It\u2019s no wonder that everyone is conditioned to judge and judge and judge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where there is a judgement, there must be a preference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where there is a preference, there must be aversion and attraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where there is aversion and attraction, suffering and misery must follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only way out of this suffering is to recognize my reflexive judgements and the way they make me feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only once I recognize how my judgements makes me feel, then what needs to happen will happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are socially conditioned to judge everything and everyone all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only way out is to walk away from society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only then the tendrils of conditioning may have a chance to not touch me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then I may have a chance to live how nature intended me to live.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The biggest reflexive and automatic response in my life is my tendency to judge.
